Northeast Lakeview College kicked-off one of two AlamoPROMISE events at Judson HS

Northeast Lakeview College kicked-off one of two AlamoPROMISE events at Judson HS on October 2.  The Judson High School senior class learned about the program and the importance of committing to their education. Complete with the Judson HS drumline, mariachis, and cheerleaders, the students celebrated this opportunity to take advantage of a free college education.  Dr. Veronica Garcia, NLC president, provided an overview of AlamoPROMISE, discussed the benefits of the initiative and provided important dates and deadlines.  Using a QR code, students then logged into the AlamoPROMISE website to “Save their Seat” in the program.  At the conclusion of the event, students recited the AlamoPROMISE pledge and made a commitment to their future.  A similar event is planned for Wagner High School on October 9.
